An autochthonous case of monkeypox in Lima

Abstract

A 26-year-old male from Lima, without trips abroad or recent contact with people who were abroad, who presented 16 vesicular skin lesions, some umbilicate
and pustules in the suprapubic area, penis, face and upper and lower limbs; in addition, fever and left inguinal linofoadenopathy. After three weeks, the lesions
formed crusts, and did not present any complications.
